Department of Urology at U.S. Diagnostic Centre

Urology is the branch of medicine that deals with disorders of the urinary tract in both males and females. Organs such as the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, urinary bladder, urethra and male reproductive organs are affected by urinary disorders. More often than not, as the urinary and reproductive tracts are linked, disorders affecting one system usually affects the other. Some common urological diseases include Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia which is an enlarged prostrate and is most common in older men, Urinary Incontinence, Urinary Tract Infections, Kidney Stones and Bladder control problems. Other common urological problems can include bladder cancer, prostrate cancer, bladder prolapse, prostatitis, over-reactive bladder and erectile dysfunction. Diagnosis of urological disorders is done via biochemical blood tests, urine analysis, urodynamic tests like Uroflowmetry, and ultrasound of the kidneys and urinary tract.

Here at U.S. Diagnostic Centre, we perform Urine analysis, Blood tests, Uroflowmetry and Ultrasound with state-of-the-art equipment to detect any disorders of the urinary tract. For all tests conducted under this department, click on Tests.
